Amazing Savings®, Inc.
has recently launched a customer loyalty program called
"ASAP" (Amazing
Savings Awards
Program). ASAP was developed to reward our
customers for their shopping frequency and dollar amounts they spend in
Amazing Savings® stores.
- For every $1 in purchases, excluding sales tax
and net of returns and discounts, and sales from the carpet department,
ASAP will award one point to an ASAP member. For every 100 points accumulated,
customers will receive a $5 dollar award check good only towards purchases
in any Amazing Savings® store.
- ASAP promotion will primarily involve in-store
promoting of the program directly to customers in and around the store
(e.g., as customers are in line to check out).
- ASAP brochure/enrollment application (Attached)
will be displayed throughout the store, promoting ASAP and detailing
the programs attributes for the loyalty card member.
- Customers will be asked to fill out the applications
in various locations throughout the store and hand the completed applications
to store associates. Additionally, customers may enroll via the web
(note that the ASAP applications are only available in the stores).
- Customers taking applications in store will be
able to peel off the permanent loyalty card affixed to the brochure
and begin using the card immediately. However, it is important to stress
that customers must complete the enrollment process to truly activate
the card (i.e., cards remain John and/or Jane Doe until we can match
a loyalty card to a members application).
- Customers can also enroll via the Internet. They
simply pick up the application from the store and log on a computer
terminal and go to www.amazingsavings.com, where they follow the prompts
and enter in their information and the number on the card attached to
the application.
- The application will ask for the following information:
name, complete address, gender and email address. A store number box
and sign up date will be included on the form and will be the responsibility
of each stores personnel to fill in.
- Stores within the following States will be participating
in the ASAP Loyalty Card program: NY, NJ, CT, DE, MD, PA, OH, MI and
KY.
- ASAP Award checks will be sent each month to
members achieving the minimum balance of 100 points. For each 100 points,
ASAP members will receive a five-dollar ($5) award check. For example:
a member with 200 points at the end of a month will receive a check
for ten dollars ($10). The award check will only be sent in increments
of five-dollars ($5).
- Points do not expire and will continue to accumulate
for example, a member with 150 points at the end of a given month
will receive a check for five dollars ($5) with the remaining point
balance (50 points) rolled over to the following month. Point balances
will be rounded up to the next whole dollar at the end of each month.
- ASAP award checks will expire 45 days from the
date of issuance. An "expiration date" on the check will inform
the customer when the check expires.
- ASAP awards are considered "use it or lose
it" i.e., members must use the checks before the expiration
date or lose the value (of the check). There will be no cash back or
reissuing of reward checks and therefore unused dollar amounts will
expire as well e.g., if a member makes a purchase of one dollar
($1) and utilizes the award check of five dollars ($5) as tender, the
member will lose the remaining four dollars ($4).
- ASAP members may not combine award checks.
- Employees of Amazing
Savings®, Inc and their immediate family members are
not eligible for the ASAP Awards Program.
